"OUTWORK EVERYONE!"
Arizona Strip Bucks + Mossback Arizona = A3 Trophy Hunts LLC
The application period for AZ Deer and Sheep are open and the online feature should be up within the week. As we roll through spring, our thoughts turn to the massive scouting operation that is already in full swing. The plans we have put in place for A3 Trophy Hunts are going to be nothing short of epic! With the weeks flying by, we wanted to detail exactly why we know A3 Trophy Hunts is the best outfitter available in Arizona to help you reach your trophy hunting goals.
If you are one of the applicants that is considering a outfitter for your once-in-a-lifetime Arizona deer hunt, we want to convey some thoughts about researching and selecting an Arizona outfitter. As we have stated on this blog before, we are good friends with many of the outfitters that compete with us. The tough nature of Arizona hunting creates great hunters out of people that are smart and have strong work ethic. Successful, top level outfitting in AZ takes tremendous work, skill and time. We have long lived by the motto of "He who works the hardest does the best." This is very true and over time the hardest working outfitters rise to the top of the pool and are revealed by their
consistent success.

Consistency is the key to selecting your outfitter. There are so many outfitter and guide options available in AZ with all of them trumpeting their success and making the claims of being the best at what they do. Talking on the phone is little help as most will tell you exactly what you want to hear. None will tell you things that may deter you from booking a hunt with them. So how do you determine who the consistent legitimate producing outfitters are when feeling overwhelmed with options? Look for consistency...

The fact is this. Whether it is a Strip tag, a Kaibab tag, or an elk tag, most every outfitter can and will show you pictures of happy hunters holding a big animal. Most hunters are dreamers and can envision themselves as the one in the picture. This is effective marketing and it leads MANY clients into booking a hunt, only to live out a nightmare experience that was oversold and under delivered. When looking at pictures and considering an outfitters services, ask yourself these questions. How old is this picture? Is it current or recycled from the distant past? Is the hunter in the picture a legit client that booked a hunt, or is he a friend or acquaintance that agreed to let the outfitter use the picture on their website? It is fact that some Arizona outfitters are currently using pictures in a very deceptive manner to book hunters. While considering ANY outfitter, ask him questions about his kill pictures! Ask to speak to the hunters in the pictures as references!
Another subject to be aware of is marketing with trail camera pictures. Everyone uses trail cameras these days and their effectiveness cannot be denied. But I will say it again! "A trained monkey can set up a trail camera and get big bucks pictures!" But so very few actually convert those pictures into dead bucks for their clients. Do not just book a hunt based on big trail camera pictures. Getting a camera picture is an entirely different game than killing a huge deer in his home territory. My 4 year old daughter can show you trail camera pics of big deer.
Fraudulent use of pictures is rampant in this business! After all, anyone can post anything on the internet and some AZ outfitters are very effective at tricking clients and getting them booked.

We are proud to state that we have guided our clients to
the biggest bucks to come from Northern Arizona in the last 12 years. We invite you to call us and ask for our reference list of hunters that have hunted with us in 2013, 2012, 2011, 10 and so on, not some distant recycled go-to references that are guaranteed to give a glowing example. We invite you to ask for our unsuccessful references as well(although we have very few!) and ask them exactly why they were unsuccessful. We stand behind our service 110% and have nothing to hide. Every picture we use is a client that picked up the phone and called us just like you. We don't need to use misleading pictures. Nope, we just go out every year and work our tails off scouting, finding, and guiding our valuable clients to the biggest animals this state has to offer.

A3 clients have harvested 7 bucks over 230" since 2009.
These records are unmatched by ANY other outfitters available in AZ.
We can not stress enough the importance of consistency. Choose an outfitter whose clients get it done year in and year out. Trophy hunting is an odds game and choosing a quality, consistent outfitter will put the odds steeply in your favor.
No matter which outfitter you pick, make sure you do a thorough research job on them! AZ tags are truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Do not be one of the many hunters every year that makes a regretful decision and sadly watches their dream hunt slip through their fingers. Call A3 and let us explain in detail exactly why we are the best at what we do.
